Vintage Glass Perfume Bottles?
I was recently offered 3 huge boxes of vintage glass bottles and I couldn't resist. Hundreds of beautifully coloured and ornate bottles which range from around 30ml up to about 100ml and I thought they would be perfect for me to bottle my perfume.
However, now that I've started sterilising each bottle and tried to carve corks for them I've realised I'm out of my league here. I thought having your bespoke perfume arriving in a surprise antique container would add to the experience but now I think I may have made a huge mistake.
Instead I think I'll just use them in the lab and even then they may be demoted to decoration because of the inconsistency in size, weight and closures. It was a nice idea and I'm sorry to those I had mentioned this too but I'm afraid this project won't fly - for now.
